This weekend, I went into the my younger brother’s room and he was watching some animated series having a gloomy scenery and a black colored book… wow! Show was amazing and it was tough for me move out of the room, and I watched the full episode. It showed how Light writes the name of a person and the way of death and that person dies in the same way. I tried several times to ask Mike (my brother) about what is he watching, but every time he gave me an angry look and told me to just sit and wait.

Finally the episode was over and I again dared to ask him and he said, “don’t you know, this is an amazing animated series and is meant for both kids and mature people.” He narrated me the whole story about the series: here is a person named Light he finds a book named Death note and he is now working upon eradicating evil from the earth and a detective is chasing him for serial killings.

His way of story telling made me so curious about the series and I asked him the name of this site and logged in here to watch the series from the beginning. Oh! Why didn’t I watch it when my brother was watching it regularly on television and why did I ignore it thinking, ‘it’s just a kiddish animation’? But no mistake now, so I do regularly visit the site to download and watch the episodes of Death Note.

I must say, I’ve never seen such strong and logical imagination before; we can’t call it a fantasy because the things like black magic are commonly heard and sometimes proved too. I think here is a video game too based upon the show, may be Mike has that and I’ll ask him.

To more of my amusement, I shared my experience with my friends, and they all have watched this series and they too think it as a wonderful animation which has an amazing story plot as well.
