The event will be a for one night only and will be held on 3^rd December at selected Cineplex Entertainment and Empire Theaters across various locations in Canada. Advance booking of tickets for the event has started from 7^th November. When Death Note went off air last year, many of us felt disappointed. But with the series being converted into a movie our hopes of seeing our favorite characters from the series back in action. The series which revolved around Light Yagami, and the notebook of death he found, was an instant hit among the masses. It was had a brilliant theme and symbolized the eternal battle between the good and the evil. It was one show that made me bite my fingers in anticipation of what would happen next. Even now, when the show has been over for over a year, I can feel the same excitement upon thinking about the action in the series.

After two successive seasons, ‘Death Note’ is over. Second season finale ‘New World’ was aired on August 31, 07. In the end of the second season, we see that the battle between good and bad comes to a satisfactory end. And, no more episodes after it!

Series was based on a very good theme and it particularly represented the eternal battle between good and evil. It’s such kind of shows where you can’t stay on the fence; you must have to choose a side. I’ve watched several anime shows but ‘Death Note’ is the one which always kept me at the very edge of my seat. Every time, when things turned against Light, I prayed for his survival and whenever he was killed, I wished justice would definitely win through.

Okay, what do you think about Light? Is he a killer or a hero? Well, it’s pretty simple man… he’s our hero who kills baddies just to save the world. When Light met Ryuk, I was shocked to see that several names were already written in the ‘Death Note’. And yeah, when Light died, many people stopped watching ‘Death Note’. But I didn’t as I was very addicted to the anime. Finally, Light created a better world with no violence and no evil. In fact, it was which all governments failed to do. What can be next to better world? As of now, nothing. But after some time, baddies will raise and at that time, the world will once again need Light. So, wait till world becomes awful, if you want to have ‘Death Note’ once again.

When I watched the season 2 finale, I knew that I was watching something very special. Well, I don’t know, whether we’ll ever see such kind of entertaining series once again or not, but I am very sure that ‘Death Note’ delivered what we can expect from any anime.
