Next day, when he came to school, I said my girl friend to ask him how he is. I knew, for sure that he will share about this secret with her because he likes her very much. The only problem is that he never expressed his feelings to her. I was faster in this task and now she is my girl and loves me very much.

He looked very serious when we were watching them from a distance exchanging words. As I knew, he showed the book to her and in front of her wrote my name on it. My girlfriend got frightened, came to me and in a lifeless voice told me about the scene. Watching her telling me about it, he ran from there. I was not able to control my laugh and my friends told her about the reality and we all laughed a lot. Within no time, whole school came to know about the prank. We had a very good time.

And, soon the International Police Organization is seen dealing with the countless no. of murders throughout the world. Who is to blame for it? A mysterious detective known as L takes the responsibility to go into the depth of the matter. Soon, he comes up the conclusion that the murderer, Light Yagami, can kill the people even without touching them.

And, that’s how Death Note goes on. Now, tell me can you imagine Death Note without Light? Never, right! Animation series’ success lies upon the popularity of their characters and if Death Note is so well accepted then, credit goes to Light Yagami.

No, No, no …. It doesn’t mean that ‘Death Note’ is back in form of a sequel or a spin-off. And, it also doesn’t mean that it’s returning with third season. Actually, I am talking about the last aired episode of series entitled ‘New World’. Yesterday, while searching for an episode of ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’, on my laptop, I came across this episode. It once again reminded me the days when I was crazy for ‘Death Note’ TV show. Excuse me…. I’ve not forget ‘Death Note’, it just went out of my routine after the series went off airing. Well, all plans to watch Zack & Cody’s mischiefs shattered and I decided to watch ‘New World’ once again! Let’s go and see what happened on this episode of ‘Death Note’-

In the beginning, there was a flashback to the last episode of the season. Next we saw Mikami entering the warehouse and Light asking him something. After the flashback was over, we saw that shafts of light started falling upon the city also through the windows of the warehouse. Very soon, Near confirmed that the Death Note that Mikami owned was a fake one and he told in front of Light that he had lost it. Light claimed that he had been framed by Near and he turned to write Near’s name on the piece of Death Note. Before he could, Matsuda shot him several times. In the next scene, we saw Light writhing on the floor and Misa Amane decided to commit suicide.

In his last moments, Light saw L standing at the foot of the stairs and finally closed his eyes forever *. And, it was really not a good season finale.

I used * with forever because I am one of those who’ve some anticipations of ‘Death Note’ sequel or spin-off. I know it happen only a very few times when you watch the sequel of an animated show but still possibility is here. Let’s see whether it ever returns or not?

When Death Note went off air last year, many of us felt disappointed. But with the series being converted into a movie our hopes of seeing our favorite characters from the series back in action. The series which revolved around Light Yagami, and the notebook of death he found, was an instant hit among the masses. It was had a brilliant theme and symbolized the eternal battle between the good and the evil. It was one show that made me bite my fingers in anticipation of what would happen next. Even now, when the show has been over for over a year, I can feel the same excitement upon thinking about the action in the series.

After two successive seasons, ‘Death Note’ is over. Second season finale ‘New World’ was aired on August 31, 07. In the end of the second season, we see that the battle between good and bad comes to a satisfactory end. And, no more episodes after it!

Series was based on a very good theme and it particularly represented the eternal battle between good and evil. It’s such kind of shows where you can’t stay on the fence; you must have to choose a side. I’ve watched several anime shows but ‘Death Note’ is the one which always kept me at the very edge of my seat. Every time, when things turned against Light, I prayed for his survival and whenever he was killed, I wished justice would definitely win through.

Okay, what do you think about Light? Is he a killer or a hero? Well, it’s pretty simple man… he’s our hero who kills baddies just to save the world. When Light met Ryuk, I was shocked to see that several names were already written in the ‘Death Note’. And yeah, when Light died, many people stopped watching ‘Death Note’. But I didn’t as I was very addicted to the anime. Finally, Light created a better world with no violence and no evil. In fact, it was which all governments failed to do. What can be next to better world? As of now, nothing. But after some time, baddies will raise and at that time, the world will once again need Light. So, wait till world becomes awful, if you want to have ‘Death Note’ once again.

When I watched the season 2 finale, I knew that I was watching something very special. Well, I don’t know, whether we’ll ever see such kind of entertaining series once again or not, but I am very sure that ‘Death Note’ delivered what we can expect from any anime.

No, this is not the name of any episode of Death Note??

Actually, it is my suggestion for the title of the episode ‘New World’. The people who have seen this episode will understand why I am keen to assign this name to this episode, and who didn’t understand, they do need to watch this episode and only then, they’ll come to know. I think this could have been the perfect title for this. On this episode, the final judgment is passed about the person who had given judgments about others for years. Yes, I am talking about Light. In this episode he gets his end from the same book Death note, using which he was punishing criminals and evil doers

It was a tragic end for both Mikami and Light. Near’s trick works when he tells Mikami that the pages he is writing on, are just fake and are not from the original Death Note book. But when Light tries to write on a paper on floor, Near shoots him. Before dying he succeeds to abscond but Ryuk (The owner of Death Note) kills him by writing his name on the Death Note pages. Meanwhile Mikami gets insane and commits suicide. So at last the final judgment is made for the person who took many people’s life. Although most of them were criminals but still he had no right to take anybody’s life, and his so called justice made himself a culprit. Finally, a moral comes out that nobody has right to change the world and all the evils and good things go as per God’s will and in order with the nature.

Wow!! Really a great anime show. It had a very sensible story plot and I do like it because of its story plot only otherwise I hardly watch any anime series. But this one is really catchy. This is a fiction but with a moral and constructive imagination, that if such thing happens and a human being gets a super power, then what will be the aftermath effects. Cool story. Do watch Death note episode.

This weekend, I went into the my younger brother’s room and he was watching some animated series having a gloomy scenery and a black colored book… wow! Show was amazing and it was tough for me move out of the room, and I watched the full episode. It showed how Light writes the name of a person and the way of death and that person dies in the same way. I tried several times to ask Mike (my brother) about what is he watching, but every time he gave me an angry look and told me to just sit and wait.

Finally the episode was over and I again dared to ask him and he said, “don’t you know, this is an amazing animated series and is meant for both kids and mature people.” He narrated me the whole story about the series: here is a person named Light he finds a book named Death note and he is now working upon eradicating evil from the earth and a detective is chasing him for serial killings.

His way of story telling made me so curious about the series and I asked him the name of this site and logged in here to watch the series from the beginning. Oh! Why didn’t I watch it when my brother was watching it regularly on television and why did I ignore it thinking, ‘it’s just a kiddish animation’? But no mistake now, so I do regularly visit the site to download and watch the episodes of Death Note.

I must say, I’ve never seen such strong and logical imagination before; we can’t call it a fantasy because the things like black magic are commonly heard and sometimes proved too. I think here is a video game too based upon the show, may be Mike has that and I’ll ask him.

To more of my amusement, I shared my experience with my friends, and they all have watched this series and they too think it as a wonderful animation which has an amazing story plot as well.

Seriously, Death Note is the most interesting anime in recent TV history and has recently completed 2 successful seasons. Season 2 finale was aired on 6-27-2007 and was entitled ‘New World‘. I am not gonna write any review on that, actually, I was missing Death Note so that’s why I am here to watch my favorite episodes from second season.

Okay, what the world is going through on Death Note? The world is in a downward spiral; murderers, sexual predators and thieves all walk through the streets alike, free from the constraints of a struggling government and prosecution system. All this is shown very brilliantly on the show. Lots of TV shows are based upon a plot from real world, but only few of them are animation shows and Death Note is one from those few shows. Definitely, Death Note is distinct. Well, in my previous post, I said that if you’re given the powers of God, what will you do? It’s not so easy to hats off to Yagami, who’s managing all this with bravery and courage.

Death Note attracts viewers with its plot, music, characters and with every thing. One thing is here, that I’d like to say that sometimes it happens when I feel it hard to understand some of Yagami’s feelings.

It’s somehow a pitfall as when you can’t get what the main character is doing, you feel helpless to stay in touch with him. Just that is what series needs to improve and everything else is OKay.

Suppose you’re living in a world full of evils and mysteries where daily life is so tough. Children are not safe; women are scared of ever approaching rapists; suicides are being committed. And, you’re granted the powers of God. Now, answer the following questions- Would you like to kill the evils? Would you kill others to save others? Would you like to kill people for justice? Would you be able to prevent yourself from all evils? These all questions are being faced by Light Yagami.

Death Note is one of the very best anime series and life style of Yagami is what I like most. He’s a guy who faces troubles with bravery and also inspires us to be brave and hard. If I was given the powers which Yagami has, I would have killed all the evils like he’s also done.
