Soichiro Yagami - The Man Who Beholds Justice

I have deep respect for one character from Death Note and that character is Soichiro Yagami.

The Chief of the NPA, Soichiro is the father of Light Yagami. He once led the Japanese Task Force. This man is known for standing by justice all the time. He is also known to be pretty kind to everyone.

He takes care of his family as well the members of the Task Force. This man is a no nonsense guy and is respected by many for this unique quality.

If you are responsible towards yourself and life, you earn a lot of respect from others and you don’t even have try for that. He strongly believes that his duty is everything for him and even after the Police department decided to stop giving any kinds of funds to him for the investigation Kira, he continued to do so and made it his personal mission.

Initially, when the Police started the investigation on Kira, he was highly disappointed by the lack of interest and cooperation they showed in confining Kira. He had no choice and joins L to find who and where is Kira. It is difficult as Kira is not to easy to catch.

L started to suspect that Light is Kira but Soichiro believes that he is not Kira and that his partner is mistaken. He thinks that Light cannot commit something like this and it is a grave mistake on L’s part.

All the blames takes a toll on this man and gets a heart attack that leads to a setback but still he continues to help the task force by guiding them on Kira issues. After L’s death, Light joins the force and he fights along with his father. When Soichiro’s end nears he comes to know that his heart was right and Light is not Kira. Download Death Note episodes and enjoy this amazing character.

Recollecting The Everlasting Essence Of Death Note!

Can I have your kind attention please?

Oh! Thank you so much for that extra smile, as you yourself know how alert you already are.

Now, because I have been keeping you updated on latest from the television series Death Note since always, I will not be doing the same today.

Though it is quite weird to say that there still are a few out there, who are yet not acquainted with the anime series, we must not overlook the fact too.

All those, who have just developed an interest to watch the anime series drifting their interest from regular shows are welcome!

So let me just enlighten you about the series first, so that you too can have an idea of why it tops the list of the most downloaded series every time.

To begin with, let me first introduce you all to the integral character of the series, Light Yagami, who is a high school student.

His life changes dramatically after he discovers a mysterious book, Death Note, which embraces certain supernatural traits.

The book is quite strange, as it kills the person whose name is inked on it, provided the writer visualizes his face and plans his death scenario within a stipulated time period.

Imagine the power of the book, and the thrill that it brings along.

Since the book has been discovered by Light, he possesses the ability to bring the change, as he intends to make this world free of all evils.

The series has been written by Takeshi Obata, a manga artist, who first made his mark by producing the manga series of the show. Death Note not only has its television series, but other renditions too, like novels, video games, etc.

Now you can imagine what kind of impact it has made on the minds of its followers that its fever is yet not gone, and viewers still download many of its episodes every now and then.

You better go for a Death Note download first, and enjoy watching!

Who is Obatas favorite Shinigami?

Takeshi Obata, the veteran illustrator is associated with Death Note for a long time. If you ask an artist who is their favorite character or creation, they find it a little tough to answer. Well, Obata thinks that Rem is his favorite Shinigami.

If you happen to see, a long skeletal being with arms like spinal cords, then say hello to Rem. Yes, you can shake hands don’t worry, the Shinigami won’t crush your palm.

Misa Amane receives her Death Note from Rem, the Shinigami. Rem owns two Death Notes like Ryuk, but the former didn’t get her notes through deception.

Gelus, a Shinigami who loved Misa like anything would do anything to save her life. In fact, he sacrificed his life in order to save her from getting killed.

After Gelus’ death, what remained were dust and the Death Note. The note was given to Misa by Rem and the reason behind this was that he saved her life.

If you watch Death Note episodes, then you must be aware the way this Shinagami looks. If by any chance, you don’t know then I will tell you.  Rem’s skin is like bone, a collection of bones. The color of the skin is white and the texture is also like a bone.  The character is female, but, the creator has given a masculine feel to her voice. She is also known as the white thing, L fondly calls her that.

Rem likes love that means she also love Misa as well. Yes, she does and she is always ready to sacrifice her life for her.  On the other hand, if you wish to know what this white bone-like Shinigami dislikes, then you guessed it right, it is Light Yagami. She can’t stand the site of a Light Yagami.

On the scale of 10, she gets 7 points for intelligence; for taking an initiative she gets perfect 10; for the display of empathy she gets 9 out of 10; and for kills, she gets only 4.

No wonder, Obata loves Rem, as he thinks that she is a good person.

Death Note to Live Long in Our Hearts!

We all love to day dream, or fantasize over a lot many things in life, but what if we really get in reality what we always have been dreaming of?

Whoa!

I guess there would be nothing better than that, right!

I was wondering the same, while watching the anime series ‘Death Note’

I think Tsugumi Ohba, the writer of the manga series, is also one, who was once awestruck with one of his own dreams so much that he came out with the television anime!

Chuckle!

Mr. Ohba, please don’t beat me up, if this is not the case!

Lol!

Well, there must be something which made Tsugumi Ohba come up with such an interest grabbing television anime, which has won so many hearts.

And, if he is not inspired by anything, and the series just came out as a result of an impulsive act, even then, he deserves a round of applause!

Because then I am sure that it would have been even tougher, conceptualizing the fantastic scenes and episodes of the series.

Great job done, man!

I too wish to come up with such a dramatic anime series one day, and become a person residing in many hearts, like Tsugumi Ohba.

But dreams at times remain dreams only, and nothing else.

Sigh!

Ohba himself must have never thought initially, that his dream would reach such heights, and would be adored by so many people.

There will be hardly any person today, who doesn’t know who Light Yagami is, and perhaps who doesn’t want to be in his shoes too.

Till the time the anime series was being broadcasted on the television networks, almost every other child did watch it, and even now, when the series has ended its original run, it is being watched just ardently.

Ask me how?

Via a Death Note download, of course!

Death Note has made its deep impression on our minds, not only with the anime series, but also with its video games, anime films, novels, etc, and therefore it will always be remembered, for years to come.

GET TO KNOW THE WORLDS GREATEST DETECTIVE!

Mysterious, cunning, shrewd, conniving, intellectually gifted, deceiving, liar and masked!

These are the words that describe the greatest character of the world of Death Note.

I am sure you can guess who I am talking about.

For people who are new to this ultimate anime show, watch Death Note online, or press the download button for the classic show.

Till then, let me introduce this character for you.

The man behind the tall and slender stature, with a scruffy look, is the world’s best detective L.

The unkempt appearance of this character works best for him to disguise his great powers and scheming mind.

Although a very unattractive appearance, to sustain that mystery and terror in the mind of the public, the character never makes a public appearance. He only corresponds through his faithful and reliable assistant Watari, also known as Quilish Wammy.

Watari is the most trusted member of L’s team, as he is the purveyor of logistics of the investigations of Kira.

True to his job, L can intimidate his opponents with his intelligent and overtly diagnostic mind and strategies.

He leads the Japanese Task Force, a special force of police officers assigned to chase Kira. To catch this serial killer and overcome the challenges in this path, became the drive of this notorious detective’s life.

His prime suspect has always been the series’ protagonist, Light Yagami, who he believes to be Kira.

The character has all the qualities that can terrorize his challengers.

The skill to subterfuge, his great awareness about the human race and ability to misinform equips him with the great command and power to threaten his enemies.

But this bitter character has a sweet tooth and many more peculiar habits. He only likes to eat fruits and desserts.

He has a strange way of handling items with only a thumb and a finger.

Socially, the character would never score good, as he has rude habits, such as slouching, placing feet on the furniture, chewing and talking in an ill manner. The character, although acidic, surely entices his audience real well!

Its Crossover Time!

We all must have heard the idiom at least once in our life - ‘One thing leads to another’.

Agreed?

Hmm, now you will ask me the context of mentioning it here.

Agreed?

Alright, so the reason is that in the world scenario of today, we all are actually bringing this idiom to life, by essentially witnessing it happening around us.

Agreed?

Hey, don’t be tongue-tied to concur with me, by way of my each aforesaid statement.

Guys, it’s the reality, after all.

Now, your next attempt, as I may guess, would be to think of the motive behind justifying the parlance mentioned above.

Agreed?

(Giggle)

Ok ok! I will get to the point now.

The creators of the famed manga, and television anime series, Death Note, Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata are treading on the lines that I was talking about.

After making their firm mark in the television animation province, by coming up with the most watched anime show, Death Note in the year 2006, now they have come with another idea to watch out for!

Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, apart from Death Note, are also the creators of the Shonen manga series, Bakuman.

The story of Bakuman revolves around a junior high student, who is chasing his dream of becoming a famous manga artist, unlike the story of Yagami Light from Death Note.

Hey, now don’t just sit there, waiting for a Death Note download to compare both the series, as both deal with a different storyline.

I am telling you!

In the month of October, viewers will get to see two crossover episodes of Bakuman anime series, and Sket Dance anime.

Also, one such collaborative crossover episode will be aired in the month of November.

Hmm, this will indeed add a little bit of extra spice, to the already running episodes of both the series.

Well, despite the availability of many anime series all around, my heart is still struck with the animated series Death Note.

I believe the series has got an unmatched popularity, and essence of its own, which will always make it stand out amongst the rest.
Agreed?

Takeshi Obata Can Be Your Source Of Inspiration Too!

In life, we often need real-life mentors, people with idiosyncratic visibility, which gives a new perspective to an otherwise ordinary thing, to instigate us to pave a new path.

Even if we don’t want to, or just are so inept at matching up, we still endeavor to give it a shot at least once, and this is because we are spellbound by those inspirers. Takeshi Obata can be considered one of them too.

The creator, and the writer of the manga series Death Note is also an avid artist. While creating story boards, or commonly known as “name” in Japan, for the series’ episodes, Obata did the final sketching work himself.

Bravo!
You see now why does the series come out so striking, and exhilarating!

It seems as if Obata’s craze and passion to sketch is being promoted in the local streets as well, which are heaped with piles of sketching books claiming to teach the aspiring artists to sketch, or draw like manga series creators.

Due to the outburst of these manga drawing books, offering to make the purchaser of the book to learn how to draw, there is a frantic craze amongst many.

Yearly, almost about 10 such new drawing books are being introduced in the market, which is being looked upon by the artists too. Amazing!

After watching Death Note Episodes, I certainly felt a need to draw and appreciate my skill. The series surely is so enthralling that you too would like to create one of your own.

Wish I could really sketch and think like Obata.

Phew! It’s a real difficult task, I must agree.

All right Obata, you are doing really fine, and so I would not intervene to compete with you, as it’s your time now.

Death Note- Wrongly Interpreted!

I know I am just another addition to countless writers who have shared their views on the practicality and impact of Death Note. But I beg to differ with them. They have seen Death Note as a means to wipe off external demons, which to me is completely impractical and cruel.

You will ask why.

First thing first, and that will be a real shocker for you….

We already have a Death Note! Yes, both you and me. Another fact is that it can kill our inner demons, provided we put our full faith into it.

Yes, let’s shift our focus on our own demons rather than looking for the evil outside. The world has been fighting an impossible fight. Evil cannot be put to death; it can only be transformed.

Let me reveal how…

Look inside yourself and tell me what you see. You will find traces of anger, jealousy and what not!

Aren’t these the exaggerated versions of the evil we see in a terrorist or a rapist? Without even an ounce of doubt, these are….

So, now you know where to start from, to build an evil-free society, don’t you?

My Death Note will serve that purpose. Just pen down those subtle, often overseen traces of inner demons on your Death Notes and send this strong belief straight into your subconscious part of brain that yes, it’s the end of my evil.

Social reformation does not come at the cost of killings; it comes at the cost of transformation.

I am sure now that you will watch Death Note online with a different perspective and it will download some noble thoughts into your mind.

After all, magic lies in everything, and this entertainment-rich creation is not bereft of that.

Is it worth to find a notebook that brings death?

Death is perhaps the only phenomena that no one has found a quick fix to. Every person, who has arrived on this planet, has to depart it, sooner or later.

But, is there really some power that can bring one’s demise earlier than the time it’s actually set to happen?

Well, if actually something like that exists, it must be nothing else, but the mysterious notebook, which Light Yagami had found in the psychological, supernatural thriller, Death Note.

Just imagine, you’ve also got something similar to Yagami’s book, what would be your instant reaction to it? I’m sure you’ll just get baffled with dread, as it’s not easy for a normal human being to manage the supernatural power of killing anybody.

We will like to have the quest of immortality in our own hands, and if we fail, we won’t want anyone else to decide our end. The individualistic game of life and death is beautiful, it’s natural!

Well, talking about the depiction of death over the years, it has always been brought forth as a conception of horrifying the wits out of viewers, as far as entertainment is concerned.

There have been a very few shows, which have compelled the audience to spare a thought regarding another aspect of the phenomena, i.e. the power to kill others!

You people can have a Death Note download to decide that whether it’s justified to attain control over someone’s end or not. Though this figment of imagination can help in eradicating the evil powers and crime from the society, it seems an inconceivable idea in the real world.

I guess it should only be in the hands of Almighty to punish one for his/her sins. We humans don’t have the right to go against the nature’s rule, for everyone’s having some dirt attached to their hands; no one being unadulterated.

Some imaginations are better if they never realize, but let them realize on TV; that is fun, much fun!

What…. it isn’t? Watch Death Note and you will agree!

Amane Misa in Finals for Singapore Cosplay!

Hello Death Note Fans!

While you are busy catching up with the Death Note episodes, I have some splendid news for you all.

Amane Misa, also known as the second Kira in the popular anime series and film, was one of the finalist in this year’s Singapore Cosplay.

Fans across the world are crazy about this popular series and more than that, they love its characters, like Amane Misa.

Before dwelling more on the competition, time for some info on what cosplay is all about.

Cosplay, also known as costume play, is a form of art, in which participants wear costumes and accessories of their favorite characters. Actually it is much more than just wearing costumes; it is all about showing your love for the character or the series. Also, it is about how well the participant emulates the character’s expression.

Woah! That is some intense stuff!

Coming back to the competition; this year, two Filipina participants were among the eight finalists in Singapore’s Toy, Game and Comic Convention (SGTCC) Cosplay competition, which is considered one of the best cosplay competitions in Asia.

Sumbe one of the finalists, a public school teacher by profession donned the costume of Amane Misa!
I feel great that people are so passionate about the series and its characters, that they don’t feel shy to even wear their costumes.

In fact, Sumbe remarked in the competition that she really adores Amane Misa and gets a feeling of self fulfillment through cosplay.

The finalists were selected, based on the accuracy of the costume, posing, props and presentation, as told by Melinda Lee, senior marketing officer of SGTCC.

The winner of this year’s SGTCC cosplay competition will get 1000 Singapore Dollars!

WOW!

I should gear up now and start preparing for the next year’s SGTCC cosplay competition.

What do you think? Wanna come along?
